Refurbishment Project at Biison

Biison undertook a comprehensive refurbishment project at The Dozing Duck, which included:

  • Structural modifications including internal wall demolition and reinforced concrete alterations to create new openings
  • Installation of new structural steelwork and implementation of temporary works with full design and permitting
  • Major floor level adjustments including raising the pool room floor by 1300mm with reinforced concrete
  • Complete roof replacement featuring a modern thermal integral fatra system
  • Installation of comprehensive drainage solutions including a Klargester grease trap system
  • External improvements including:
    • Landscaping and pathway installation
    • New resin-bordered flooring and block paving works
    • Construction of a buggy park facility
    • Custom-designed illuminated entrance featuring aluminum framework
    • Installation of new gates, knee rails, and fencing
